Hands on Activities

Write a wormy story.

Keep a chart of what you have put in your bin and how long it took for the worms to eat it.  What foods do they like most?

When you first start your worm bin weigh how many worms you have.  Three months later at harvest time weigh how many you have.  How many pounds do you have now?  How many castings did they create?

Plant two plants of the same species.  Plant one with worm castings the other without.  Record their growth.
